Creating a
healthier Missouri

Next to Rise is a youth-led program that gives high school students a platform to work together to create positive change in Missouri. The program is a policy-focused health initiative funded by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

How students can get involved

All students at a partnering high school or organization are invited to join Next to Rise. Members of the program will push for health-forward change across Missouri.

Based on how involved you are with the program, you’ll grow as a leader and gain valuable skills from community service. You can even earn rewards like leadership experience, community service hours, scholarships, and more!

Ready to serve and uplift your community? Apply to join Next to Rise on our For Students page.
